Researcher and Consultant on Life Expectancy
As posted:
- Full time employee.

- Small San Francisco research and consulting group. The group's work in statistics/ epidemiology is internationally recognized.
- Our research is on life expectancy and related topics, and is published in major medical journals.
- Our consulting is in the litigation context, as expert witnesses on life expectancy. We give expert opinion on life expectancy, often
in a detailed scientific report, and explain/defend our opinions in deposition and trial.
- Essentials:
- Significant post-graduate training:
- MD and MPH, or
- PhD (in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, statistics, actuarial science or economics), or
- FSA and MPH.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Unusual attention to detail.
- Outstanding oral & written communication abilities.
- Strong commitment to the work.
- A quick and lively mind.
Other criteria:
- Preference will be given to candidates from the San Francisco area, to avoid the problems of (a) travel for interview, and (b) relocation.
- Experience with SAS (statistical) programming would be helpful, but is not required.
